Project Details

During Art Basel Miami Beach, Aloyd was selected to engineer and deliver the exhibition pavilion for Saint Laurent Rive Droite’s Sex by Madonna installation—a bold architectural statement celebrating the re-edition of Madonna’s landmark 1992 book, Sex. Positioned directly on the sands of the iconic Art District on Ocean Drive, the cubic structure spanned 900-square-feet and rose to a height of 16 feet, establishing a modern, minimalist frame for the exhibition’s large-scale prints.

Utilizing Aloyd’s patented modular aluminum panel system, the pavilion was fabricated and assembled with laser-level precision in just 48 hours. The structure is supported by a custom, non-invasive foundation engineered for sand, ensuring stability without site disruption. Its exterior featured a matte black, powder-coated finish with reflective accents, while the interior met museum-grade standards with integrated gallery lighting, concealed wiring, and climate-controlled conditions. Complete dismantling in under 24 hours further underscores Aloyd’s capability to deliver temporary, high-performance architecture that combines design excellence with rapid build efficiency.
